These are designed to make this vacation equally captivating for pilot’s partners and family. And to top it all off you will dine each evening on imaginatively prepared, fresh New Zealand cuisine. This is accompanied by great local wines.

Flyinn is family owned and operated. Your hosts are Matt and Joanne McCaughan, and their children Heather and James. Matt is a pilot of over 20 years experience, around most areas of New Zealand, and specialising in mountain flying. Joanne will ensure your stay at is memorable, relaxing and totally provided for.

You are their personal guests at Geordie Hill, which is the families’ working, 5,500 acre, sheep and cattle station. This is centrally located in the romantic high country of New Zealand’s South Island, just a short 20 min flight from Queenstown airport. Over 7000 sheep and 200 beef cattle are run here. The merino sheep grow the world’s finest wool. The private station airstrip of 900m ensures convienience for guests. With Flyinn you are not an ordinary tourist, and will also have the opportunity to meet and spend time with the locals.

At ‘home’ – the term our guests begin to call Geordie Hill – guests can relax in their separate, private cottage accommodation, before making their way to the homestead for evening dinner. Joanne enjoys preparing a variety of delicious New Zealand cuisine. She features the best local ingredients, including our own meat and produce from the station. Dinner is matched with specially selected local wines, to complete your entire New Zealand experience.

Flyinn groups are kept very small, allowing for flexibility. Itineraries are provided for 7, 11, and 19 days covering all the best New Zealand has to offer. From Geordie Hill many destinations are a short 1 – 2 hour flight, allowing time to absorb the scenery, activities and history of your landing spot(s) before flying ‘home’, often via a completely different route.

When not flying, guests are invited to experience some of station life, and join in a muster of 1,000 sheep or more. Alternatively, take a vehicle for a day and explore Wanaka, Queenstown, Aspiring National Park, or the vineyards. Pilot's friends, partners and family will find that our itineraries are totally enjoyable for them also.

Completing the Flyinn Team are a small group of dedicated and experienced guides, who are available to you throughout your tour. At Flyinn this team is committed to providing guests with the holiday of their lifetime.
